Hahahaha. Either my school was way stricter, or I wasn't liked by the teachers...both possibilities. ;)

You are strange. Even music theorists hate music theory! What's wrong with you? :p
Time signature changes are fun, haha. I remember this song I learned on the sax years and years ago that had a time signature change once every ten bars. It was mental but so fun.
Handwriting it takes forever, plus on Sibelius I can hear a shitty little MIDI of what I've done and be proud that I can write better music than Miley Cyrus, even using shitty MIDIs.
Yeah I've got GP. Cool little program. Have heaps of music for it as well.
I might play something tomorrow if I can find anything to play...hahaha.

It's my jam. Until the chick starts singing, then you restart it, hahaha. A mate and I play it constantly during racing games and we drive our best when it's playing. :p

I really don't know. Trust me you're not the first one to tell me something's wrong with me :p
My favourites are where the time signature changes are actually part of the riff. So you have part of it in 5/4 then an extra bar of 4/4 at the end :D But it's good I love it.
I get annoyed because I try to add inflections and accents and crescendos and slides and then the program shuts down because there's too much information :( Well to be honest a toddler could just smash there hands on a piano and make better music than Miley. But Wrecking Ball is a good song and I'm not ashamed of that!

Oh you're a lot cooler than me. My mate and I, our jam is A Thousand Miles. Not even kidding, we sang it once in our I.T. class. It became our theme song, and we started every class by singing it. So just imagine 10 17 year old guys singing A Thousand Miles, you get the picture :p

I'm not quite good enough to deal with that, hahaha. It does sound cool when someone much better than me plays it though... :D

I don't think I've ever had the program shut down on me, haha. Get a better computer, preferably a Mac. Although I remember I was doing an arrangement for our house band and it went all messed up and corrupted the file a day out from when I was supposed to give everyone the music, which wasn't fun...had to just give everyone really basic bass lines until I could get the sheet music done again. Was hell.
How could you possibly say that that's good? Hahahaha.

Oh dear lord. You're clearly the cool one here.

To stay somewhat on track...

Loving this at the moment. A bit different to their 'classic' stuff I suppose, but I'm enjoying it all the same.

Also enjoying this (warning: slightly disturbing and heavily metaphorical video clip):

And while I'm far from a fan of her 'mainstream' music, Birdy's cover of 'The A Team' by Ed Sheeran is something I can't stop listening to at the minute. More from an appreciation of her voice perspective than anything else though:

I am never getting a Mac. Never ever ever ever. Macs are the devil! It doesn't help that I usually do most of my work on a 5 year old laptop though  I remember finally nailing a take after about 10 tries at it, only for the stupid machine to shut down and corrupt the file. This was before I knew about the auto backup feature as well. So now I have it backing files up every 5 minutes :D

And as Nightowl pointed out, i'm most definitely the cool one.

BACK ON TRACK:

Blink 182 slowed down with some post rock influences? Yes please.

Yeah sure I like some emo, what of it? Mayday Parade, I'm hooked on the bridge right now. It describes my situation perfectly. No it wasn't a breakup, it's just the first line. "I'll be ok, is that what you want me to say?"

My main man Andrew Huang! This song picks me up whenever i'm feeling down, plus it's my summer jam. Perfect.

Yeah. The dog house is a bit like sitting in an empty theatre on your own..crickets...
Surely u can appreciate the production value of Abba music..and it's generally cheerful..
I loved them when I was a kid.
Don't listen to much music lately. I like Ed Sheeran..
I looked up Andrew Huang on YouTube - based on your albums list on the other thread.
Loved him doing the Breaking Bad theme with meth lab equipment. It was beautiful..
I like Abba :) Brill songs and tunes. I guess some people have a thing against them because they were so big and their stuff was overplayed. I'm a bit like that with them but also with some of my fave groups like with Stairway To Heaven by Zep.
These are my fave Abba songs

1 Dancing Queen
2 Chiquitita [but love Sinead O'Connor's version the most]
3 SOS
4 The Winner Takes It All
5 I Do I Do I Do
6 Waterloo
7 Money Money Money
8 Fernando
9 Mama Mia
10 The Name Of The Game

Re Abba. Dancing queen is a classic.
Knowing Me, knowing You sounds so smooth. And Does Your Mother Know just makes me laugh.
U2 think they were cool

love a bit of 90's British electro, randomly listening to this at the minute.

Featured on The Beach soundtrack too. Pretty good chillout song IMO.

Beware of Dan of the many n's..
I get a real Colonel Parker vibe off of him ! ;) :p
I feel like I should know who this is but i'm too young :(

I'll have a listen tomorrow and reply properly when I'm not quite so exhausted, but I love Mayday Parade too. Miserable At Best is one of my favourites (unfortunately it's also really good at getting me down, haha).
I have to stay away from that song lately i get too down. Same goes for Damien Rice :p

The Killers song is techno straight from the 80's haha, i've never liked Flowers' voice and i'm not a fan of 80's techno, so it didn't quite do it for me.

The Bastille song was great though, The more I hear of these guys the more I like their stuff. I was going to catch them at the Corner but it was sold out before I could get tickets :(

I love Birdy. I listened to her album though and it's very hit and miss. Some amazing songs in there, but a bit of filler too. I love her voice and she nailed that cover. I also think she's insanely cute which helps :D

Indeed. Colonel Tom Parker. He was a carnival man, but recognised Elvis' talents, and sucked him for all he was worth.

I remember. This was on my mid year exam too, I can't believe I forgot it so quickly

Ok... For Igloo who clearly does not LIKE me.. ... o_O

Favourite Elvis songs..
Don't Be Cruel - think this was his biggest hit. not sure. :)
And In The Ghetto makes me cry..
Viva Las Vegas was great live.. in concert I mean. Didn't see him live !
I'm not quite THAT old..

You got your like :p. Anything to do with Elvis will always get a like from me.

Don't Be Cruel is one of my favourites. Although I have too many favourites to label them "favourites", haha.
I Was The One is probably my favourite at the moment.

Just too many. All of them!

HA HA.. FINALLY SUCCESS.. Now I feel better about myself. ha ha. I'm so needy. !!
I loved when Elvis would sing the gospel/bluesish songs. And Whitney Houston's mum was one of his backup singers..
