The other I searched for was Mr. Beast, by Mogwai.

1. Auto Rock 2. Glasgow Mega-Snake 3. Acid Food 4. Travel Is Dangerous 5. Team Handed 6. Friend Of The Night 7. Emergency Trap 8. Folk Death 95 9. I Chose Horses 10. We're No Here

Memorable guitar riffs and piano passages are unique and pleasure to Mogwai's style of music. It is one of the greatest emotional albums I have heard for many years, it takes you through the highs and lows of the human emotional spectrum. 8/10 :thumbsu: :thumbsu:

The Guillemots ….through the window pane…..

stylus magazine review

They play phantasmagorically jazz-inflected indie-pop and they are here to save the world.

Through the Window Pane is a pleasure from start to finish, and one of the most creative, musical and genuinely moving records to come from these shores *UK in an age. It is produced absolutely lovingly, mixed and mastered to sound open, natural, dynamic, and exciting. In a world of target-marketed AOR slop and bottom-feeding corporate teenage rebellion, their contemporaries are the likes of the sublime Patrick Wolf and… precious few others, sadly.

Across the length of Through the Window Pane you will encounter an orchestra, and a colliery band, and guitar played with a drill, and a double-bass, and some parping brass, and lovelorn ballads (occasionally played on some kind of ancient Casio device), and a couple of the greatest, oddest pop songs of the decade, and something approaching drum ‘n’ bass as played live and acoustic by idiot savants, and a host of other wonders before the whole thing finishes with a twelve-minute number that starts off like Vanessa Carlton and ends up in the slums of São Paulo leading a samba band through the climax of West Side Story as directed by Lars Von Trier, and which might just be the best album closer ever. Seriously. We are, despite the Pavlovian response of some people when faced with a disarmingly charming white guy playing a piano, not in the same universe as Coldplay anymore.

**For me, this London based band have produced an album of pure musical genius, absolutely GOLD. :thumbsu:

You dont know how much I need you.
While youre near me I dont feel blue.
And when we kiss I know that you need me too.
I cant believe I found a love thats so pure and true.

But it all was bullshit.
It was a goddam joke.
And when I think of you linda,
I hope you fu*king choke.

I hope youre glad with what youve done to me.
I lay in bed all day long feeling melancholy.
You left me here all alone, tears running constantly.

Oh somebody kill me please,
Somebody kill me plee-ase,
Im on my knees,
Pretty pretty please kill me.

I want to die.
Put a bullet in my head.

Kid: youre going to the mental institution.

It's the lyrics to Somebody Kill me- Adam Sandler, The Wedding Singer Soundtrack. :) I reckon it is hilarious. Get a copy of it.

Hahaha, update on what I am uncovering. The latest trend for me is grime, peculiar music.
Grime is a sub-genre of urban music which first emerged in London in the early 2000s, primarily a development of UK garage, drum and bass, dancehall and hip hop.

Wiley (Aka; Eskiboy) is one of my favourite artists.

Other artists, yet to listen to some.

Enjoy, Sherm.

A little of both Jnr - i was given a few tracks by a mate who lives in America after he played at her college - and became a fan as a result of that. However, as a massive scrubs fan i had heard a few of his tracks (Winter, etc) before.

Major respect. I simply fell into his music off the back of 'Winter' when it was played in 'My Screw-up' in season 3. Ever since then I have been campaigning that it is one the best songs ever.

I agree - he is an awesome songwriter/performer!

Cum on feel the noise - Quite Riot!

Awesome Song!

A very old song by a fab band called Slade. This is so old that I know that you were but a twinkle in your mummies eyes when it was released:). You are right though, it is indeed an awesome song. Here is the original.
