I'll give you all the drum, crown lager is the same beer as fosters. Don't believe me do the test, buy a crown stubbie and a fosters and pour it in the same chilled glasses same temp, and get someone to switch a few times while your eyes are closed, I GUARANTEE you will not be able to pick the difference.

CUB brew the beer in one big vat and the first half that comes out is crown, the second half comes out is fosters, and i promise that is not a lie.

Price per stubbie at my local - Crown $3, Fosters $2.20 - you work the rest out for yourself.

Don't drink it, unless I can mix it with lemonade. This probably happens once a year. I've been told I should learn to drink it though, for when I'm a broke uni student next year.

At the moment I drink Heineken, but it changes all the time. Probably my favourite aussie beer is Boags Strongarm, their only good beer, the premium is for theatregoer types.

Thats interesting you say that deej-I remember years ago someone who claimed to work there telling me that it was all from the same vat but went something like Carlton draught,fosters,v.b then melbourne from the bottom.Be interesting to know if its true.
