A bit of a forgotten man around the traps - Perhaps because he doesn't have as far to go as some other players.

He already proved in 2006 that he is part of our best 22, whereas guys like Scott Pendlebury have yet to do that, which perhaps explains why they get more of the talk.

Also, due to this, he has been featured less in the pre-season, and spent less time on the ground than others who are fighting for a spot.

However, I expect him to have a reasonably good year - May not improve too much on last year, as his big improvement will be around year 3/4, when he starts getting a lot stronger and fitter. At the moment, he's still growing (grew 2cm over the off-season) so putting on muscle is going to be harder.

Will never be a Buckley, picking up possessions all day, that's more a Pendlebury role. But he will do the things that ignite us, he jumps into packs without any fear or worry about his own safety, and will do things to lift the team. I reckon he will be as good as Brett Kirk was to Sydney in the 2005 Prelim vs St. Kilda where the Swans were down by 30 at 3qtr time and Kirk had split his head open yet stayed on the ground, and obviously sparked the Swans into a goal avalanche. Thomas will be able to do that aswell, and there are few in the league that can:thumbsu: :thumbsu:

People seem to have gone quiet on him this year, He had a ripping pre-season, What makes people think he won't do as well as he did last year, If he does do as well as he did last year I will be very pleased

future marquee player of the club. When Bucks goes and Fraser is bald at 28
Nothing wrong with Fraser going bald - My dad had a dream back in 2001 that we'd win the Grand Final with Fraser getting the Norm Smith Medal for kicking 5 goals.

The interesting thing? In the dream, Fraser was bald, with it long at the back, and wearing a headband, ala Bruce Doull - And this was back in 2001, when it wasn't apparent that Fraser was going bald.

So you know... Maybe it will be a good thing.

Great kid with a good work ethic and will get better with time, i still think pendelbury will be the better player, only time will tell.:)

Funny you should say that.. Fraser will be 28 in 2010 - The Year of the Magpies!

One of those players when he gets the footy you know he will use it. You're not waiting for a 50/50 outcome as sometimes happens with younger players. This is reassuring outcome for nervous fans like me who get frustrated when otherwise competent young players (and even older ones) 'blow it' under pressure. Also brave and wants the footy. Rapidly becoming a favourite because he is reliable in the same vein as Josh Fraser.

I'm not convinced about his footskills. He seems to be a tad unreliable in his kicking style. However a lot of that will be fixed as he builds up some bulk and gains strength, which should aid his precision and depth in his kicking.

Apart from that minor criticism, I cant really fault him. He has pace, skill, spring, and guts. He'll have a long career at the Pies.
