By god how exactly do you know gibbs and murphy are going. YES, many of you have a crystal balls and see into the future. Maybe you are remote viewers, and phsychics. Many players have barnies look at Mcleod and Edwards, strong clubs get through this bullshit.

Shit i have disagreements with my Boss every week, yet we still get on and can see the bigger picture. If this is the case, it shows a lot of immaturity in our group, and that i would be worried about!!!

During the pre-season camp no doubt Fev will need to do some "team bonding" sessions and mend some bridges.

His ego will have been dealt a massive blow through all this if he doesn't go.......i.e. no other clubs wanted him.

He will commit to winning back his position at the club and all will be well........and hopefully, given his "rift" with our key midfielders, they moght look for other options a bit more. :D

Win win IMO.

No doubt you are a glass half full man

If Fev stays here's what will happen.

He will start on the bench each game, the coaches will instruct him to warm up several times throughout the first three quarters, but, not actually put him on the park. He will be absolutely chomping at the bit, by this stage.

At the two minute mark of the final quarter he will be let loose where he will go nuts and kick a quick four or five in the last stanza.

This will have many benefits: Firstly, the boys will learn to create a winning score and gel together as a creative, working forward unit.

Secondly, It will keep Fevola's big-head in check. Along with that, it will be keeping the opposition on their toes throughout the whole game, wondering when the big fella's coming on.

With this, Fevola can still kick 80 to 90 goals. The Carlton Footy Club learns to play without him. We have the greatest trump card in the game, ready to fire at a seconds notice.
Sounds like a winning formula to me.

No offence meant but you're insane.

Hmmm wonder how i missed the CFC statement announcing a rift between fev and Murph/Gibbs. Pretty sure ive been spam refreshing afl.com most of the day.

I heard mentioned on 3AW a few weeks back that the club organised for the company (forgot their name) that come into clubs and works on leadership and every player is stood up in front of his peers and told what they need to work on, what they think of them etc.

I know geelong did it in the past where they told gazza jnr to pull his finger out and train harder and st kilda and melbourne did it last year.

Imagine if Fev is still with us and he stood up what the rest of the team would have to say.

Love to be a fly on the wall that day:thumbsu:

........OR......

he isn't able to suck up enough.....his aatitude takes a major nose dive, he plays 12 really crap games for the Ants before being selected for their reserves......doesn't show up and is last seen in Las Vegas throwing up on Hulk Hogan shouting "don't you know who I am"........

After his contract expires he is let go.....to be immediately signed by Eddie.......not to play for the Pies but to star alongside Alex in a new "reality" TV show based on "The Osbornes".

Special guest appearances by Lance and Shane.

how's that? :D

Yeah I heard about that too..I think they call them "honesty seeions". It obviously worked for Gary jnr, could work for Fev. Would be good to hear, something tells me Fev would be standing up for a while.

obviously i have no idea exactly what would happen if there were no fev trade this week, but i can't imagine swann and whoever else takes care of these things not being prepared in some way for that possibility. they will have something in mind. be it a big bbq (with no alcohol) with lots of laffs, or dumping his ass into the ants.

i have it on VERY GOOD AUTHORITY that gibbs will not leave the blues as long as one thing happens....

....if sticks stays at carlton, so will young bryce

We can sit down Adelaide and Port this time next year, place the "Bryce Gibbs Cup" on the table and start the bidding! Worst case senario we get fair compo....best case one pays over the odds.

Seriously, Fev is more carlton than Murh, Gibbs, Judd, Swann and Twiggly combind!

Sticks just wants him gone because his going to beat his goal kicking record.

The only club you can sit down next year with is GC17 they have all the draft picks !!!

The 1st five picks would be the starting point !!!....lol

If he doesnt get traded he will enter a rehab course for 6 months and be suspended from the club until at least the midseason break......By then we will know what life without Fev is like .....

But i dont think it will get to this !!!

It's just BS rumours.

Fev will stay, he will muck up again because he now knows that he is safe at Carlton no matter what because no one else is interested in him.

And we will be talking about a swap with Collingwood for Didak who would have just been involved in a drive by shooting (Again) and bought the game into disrepute !!!!
