Over to you, Ms Garbutt

YOUNG mother Leah Withington felt like a criminal when two Government cars, a police van and two constables on bicycles arrived at her Mornington house.
Neighbours must have thought a drug bust was in progress -- or maybe a raid linked to the underworld killings.
It was neither.
The posse of police and officials had come to take away Leah's baby, Sam, aged six months, in the mistaken belief he was at risk.
In an overreaction as farcical as it was humiliating for the parents, the Department of Community Services proved again that it is as subtle as a sledgehammer and seriously prone to bungling.
