Hopefully it's not 8 weeks on the sidelines for Riewoldt (as I only traded him in last week).

But if the trade needs to be made, who do we trade in?
I'm thinking about doing 2 trades.

N. Riewoldt to R. O'Keefe
and
C. Rioli to B. Johnson

Has anyone else got a back up plan if Riewoldt is out?

TEN News Sport said he is out for a month, with the Hall Of Fame match that is only really 3 weeks, how many people traded out Cornes for his 3 weeks on the sidelines?

Apparently Riewoldt is only out for 2-3 weeks (ie 3-4 less 1)...read main thread with link...

I'm on the other side of the coin. I have to wait even longer to trade him in! He has a massive breakeven, and will end up around 460k after a couple of games!

The other point is that in round 10, and 11 when he would be due back St Kilda plays on Sunday.

Means an extra day to recover, but also might mean we have one of those weeks where he is on the dreaded extended bench...

Very good point

will be keeping him, 3-4 is managable in the forward line with Gamble and Tippet both sitting on the bench...

Jonathan Brown is an interesting one, does anyone know what his injury is? Its obviously been effecting his scores, but hasn't been bad enough yet to be missing games, is it something that may be with him for the majority of the season or will the weeks rest get him through it?

I think JB will play the legends game so he won't get the rest he needs but I'm sure he'll come good anyway.

In the exact same boat! With Gamble and Tippet sitting on bench. Cant figure out exactly what to do. Decisions, decisions

As for J Brown have no idea?

I'm in the same boat too. If it's 4 weeks, I'm going to keep him and just play Gamble probably. I'm a bit concerned about how quickly Riewoldt can get back to good form though, given his injury history. I don't have enough trades left to have the luxury of trading him out anyway.

Pity about this - really shouldn't have happened either - if I was a St. Kilda supporter, I'd be filthy about the tackle that injured him. Totally unnecessary force.

Riewoldt should be a keeper but I am tempted by the recent fall in R O'Keefe's price and Sydneys game against Essendon in Rd 8. Essendon is very leaky and O'Keefe should carve up with his current form.
If I keep Riewoldt he is likely to be out 6-8 and O'Keefe will fire. If I trade him he will be back in 3 weeks and star.
Probably best waiting it out as did with C. Cornes and save the trade. I'm guaranteed to get it wrong again.

Good luck

I think i will go Riewoldt to Chapman
and
Rioli to B. Johnson

I've got a full bench, assuming J Brown is now fit and healthy again, with Dew and Tippett. One of those guys can cover for him for a few weeks, no worries.
