What toolbar do you use

There are a few out there, with the Google one probably the most used.


I'm thinking of using a new one and have had a bit of a look around, but nothing really takes my fancy yet.

Used the Yahoo toolbar probably 10 years ago, even before that, but lol, who yahoos any more?

But yeah, like Swanny, I avoid them like the plague.

Very much this. The only thing i have is the default favourite links one.
Some computers i see have half the browser window filled up with various toolbars. It's terrible.

Agreed, Firefox is still king.

Toolbars are incredibly annoying and I really hate the programs during setup that ask for you to install one. I like my screen to be nice and uncluttered.

I was a long time Firefox user but Chrome now comprehensively thrashes the pants off it.

It syncs bookmarks, extensions, passwords, themes, etc all natively within the browser. It has truckloads of extensions, all the extensions I used to use in Firefox I can now get in Chrome.

It does it all massively faster than FF.

Firefox is a clunky old dog in comparison.

Extentions, Firefox has thousands.
And Firefox you can actually tweak like mine to run of its nut.

The new beta of Firefox 4 will sync natively but no version up till then.

Yes I know Firefox has lots of extensions, my point was that Chrome does to.

Chrome run likes lightning out of the box. I prefer to spend my time browsing, not tweaking my browser.

I still like the fact that Firefox was and still is Open Source for the client to do what they will with it...

Google Chrome is to overboard in its style, and reminds me of Apple to much trying to "whore" itself out to everyone.
