A week off. What should they do? Train as normal would be the way to go. Should they take it easy on the track or should they get a little physical to try and keep them primed for a tough Prelim Final?

Don't know how they have done it but I can't help but admire the performance in "man management" by those responsible at the Club this season.
We have had a poor record in this area in the last few years and a little less Loris seems to have worked a treat.
I am happy to let those professionals continue on in the manner they see fit and I have confidence that they will deliver a fighting fit and firing squad on the paddock for our next TWO games.

Probably have a very tough week on the track (in terms of fitness) and then ease off around Tuesday for Friday nights game.

This is what Scarlo says the cats will be doing this weekend.

With the weekend off, we're going up to Port Melbourne to watch our reserves play in the preliminary final. We're going to get up there as a club and support them, as they play a huge part in our club, and it would be great if they could make the Grand Final.

We're going to have a big training hit-out on Saturday morning, which will be good. The boys haven't switched off at all – they're all still really focussed.

Saturday's session will be like a simulated match for us, without all the bumps and bruises. We'll have a run around and a bit of a kick, because we didn't want to have too many days off so we can keep our minds switched on.

We've had a normal week this week. We've done everything normal; we had a day off on Tuesday, but all the guys came in and did some extra stuff, extra weights and recovery. We reviewed the game and did all of our normal recovery, so it's been just like every other week.
