What would Sydney want for Jesse White ?

Have a feeling White has run his race in Sydney an doesn't fit into Longmire's plans. I would be very interested in getting him to Carlton, he tore us a new hole at Etihad a few years ago. The kid can play, but it seems his self confidence is shot.

This might be paying overs, but i would trade Kane Lucas for White, tall key forwards don't grow on trees, and Lucas would thrive in Sydney.
I'm a realist and know chopped liver like Mclean or draft picks in a compromised draft would not be enough to sway Sydney, who are astute traders.

Sydney would jump at that. Ridiculously poor deal for Carlton though. White seems to have gone backwards over the past few years. Even his kicking for goal, which I remembered as impeccable, has gone downhill. He's obviously not big on confidence right now, which isn't helping, but Sydney are good at bringing the talent out in players, and even they haven't got a lot from White.

Nothing alike. Hampson hasn't stagnated like White. Even Thornton kicked more goals than White in season 2011. White's built like Tarzan, but plays like Jane.

Two Things 1 - I have a feeling Kane Lucas wants out of Carlton, and even though perhaps he's worth more then Jesse White, i think many clubs will be chasing him.

2 - General, you are one of the most biased and negative posters on BF. White is a far better player than you think he is, he has shown glimpses of decent potential, and Brett Ratten appears to have great ablity to nuture players shot of confidence.

I don't think Henderson or Hampson is cut out to be forward targets and frankly Levi Casboult will spud it up at AFL level, he's not got the talent or aerobic capacity to succeed at AFL level, and no way will we get Reid, Jesse White is worth a punt

Against Hawthorn, Jesse WAS actually a tree. The game has evolved from 2 years ago & you had a dumb backline then. Jeeses role against the Hawks was to protect Reid & stop Gibson from reaching the contest & spoiling.
Jesse failed.
He actually failed on 23 occassions, which is the amount of spoils Gibson made.
I wouldn't be unhappy with that trade.
