According to all the experts, this boy was desperately unlucky last year to miss out on getting drafted. This year he seems to have vanished off the face of the earth.

Is he a chance this year? Are there any others who missed out last year that might get another chance? Or does life end when you turn 18?

Wasn't the knock on him that he was dreadfully slow? If so, then how did he got at South Adelaide?

the reason he didnt get drafted i beleive is his liking for a drink! he played reserves all year at south adelaide!

Will Gayfer went with Shaun Daly from The Bushrangers across to South Adelaide and poor old Will never fire a shot. Daly played a number of senior level games and poor old Will didn't even get close. Will does enjoy life and I would assume he may have put a few kilos on as well.

Thats a shame because his brother was the most dedicated fitness fanatic at Collingwood, Tony Shaw probably being the only exception. Michael Gayfer extracted the very best out of himself despite many deficiencies in his game.

I agree totally but the only problem is he has three other brothers Tony,Peter and David who were great players as well but also very good off the field as well. Tony would have to be in the Nightclub Hall of Fame.

Tony would definitely be in the Nightclub hall of fame although he didn't only confine it to nightclubs but anywhere in general. Peter and David weren't even in his league. Anyone know what is Burger up to these days?

Will played last year with South Adelaide reserves, this year he played the 1st half there, and then went back home in country Vic to play with his Junior club..

Callum Burgess was very unlucky, i thought West Coast were gonna take him with pick 21 2 years ago.. Very Stiff IMO.

Jordan Barham played a few games with Geelong's VFL side and did O.K this year, so who knows?

Jordan Barham played in the ovens and murray for one of the clubs there> He might have played at Geelong ressies when the cats had a huge injury list. Cocked up of the field at one stage during the year and missed some football
