When my lot played you early this year, you looked ordinary. Looked slow, predictable and a poor low scoring forward line.

Living in Sydney with no Foxtel, I haven't seen much of your team till tonight.

Wow! The Crows look like a totally different team - very impressive. What's changed?

Just quietly Tippett and Knights became full time forwards.

Hentshel and Burton came back from injury.

Up until that it was just Porplyzia holding the forward line down by himself.

Not very inspirational to kick to is it?

While Craig certainly tinkered wit hthe game play to an extent, I think the change in personnel has had one of the greater effects.

The bulldogs game was actually the first game of the retinkering, and we were pretty good for 3 quarters.
Yeah, we were solid in quarters 1 and 2, and good in 4 but our new gameplan was rusty and got abused by the doggies in quarter 3.

We are now in an understanding of our gameplan and are executing it well.

We've kicked 53 goals in the past two games. Very impressive. :thumbsu:

We are also playing much more aggressive football. I think the soft calls really stung NC and the players earlier in the year. They hit the body with alot more purpose.

two things have changes

1. restructure of our attck, Tippett playing forwad full time, Knights and Danger playing forward and the return of Birdman and Hentchel

2. our game plan has not changed we have just got better at the execution

Confidence in the game plan + our forward line would have to be up there as one of the most dangerous. Has a very good mix and balance. Tippett, Hentschell as the tall targets- with Birdman, Porps, Knights and Dangerfield as smalls/midsized forwards. It's loaded with talent, if one doesn't fire another will. Tippett is the key I reckon. He just has such a big presence being such a big guy and he gets to so many contests. Not only will he go for the grab but he also is so so good at ground level. Ad to that his amazing ruckwork and we have one of the most important players in our team. If he goes down... we're in some trouble I reckon.
