So the good news today is not only has Always Sunny been renewed for two more seasons but also FX have greenlit a new show starring Tracy Morgan created by Howerton, McElhenney and Day which could be absolutely anything.

Interested in the second part of your post but not the first.

Don't get me wrong,, Always Sunny is hilarious shit right there but the show has lost it's touch in the last couple of seasons.

I haven't even bothered watching the last season yet and probably won't anytime soon.

I thought that Season 8 they tried to force the jokes instead of going with the flow like they did in previous seasons.

The latest season of Sunny was brilliant. There's an episode about how they've never won an award and it's just brilliant. I've watched it more times than I can count. There are no real weak filler episodes, my only complaint would be that the season was too short.

They peaked around the time they did night man. I gave up halfway through season 6. When it feels like I'm grinding through a show I just fade out.

Nah I agree man. Season 8 was pretty shit in comparison to Season 9. Season 9 is very good!

The biggest positive from Season 8 was episode 9 - The Gang Dines Out. That was absolutely brilliant. So simple and yet so effective. It is the perfect episode to understand the traits of the characters.

Charlie - Under Frank's Thumb
Frank - A sleaze and mastermind
Dennis - Psychopath that's never about other people
Mac - Dennis' boyfriend (in his mind anyway)
