Now that I think about it, I would have thought that with so many injuries, he would have been a certain to enter the team.

He wasn't injured (I think), so why didn't he play? ...

But seriously, he would have helped a bit. We needed another option if we were throwing Croad forward. I know DJ would have got killed by a red hot Jones but we needed to rotate Brown esspecially after his two attempts to spoil where he actually didnt leave the ground, didnt raise a fist, and hoped Jones dropped the ball.

Maybe he is on the outer?

but on a serious note, i too was surprised that Danny didnt get a game today. I would have thought he'd be a certainty with Thorp and Franklin out.

Looks like he's gone, but i think we can get a pretty decent trade out of him.

But seriously if he is gone at the end of the year, I will congratulate you for calling it so early in the year. I thought he would be in to help in defence with the likes of Petrie, Brown, Jones and Hale, you would think he would help out with Murphy having the ability to go forward or back as with Croad.

danny was in the 22 and was in tasmania with the rest of the side but became quite ill the night before and had to pull out

in my opinion i still believe when he is 100% right he's in the best 22 but time will tell whether i'm right or wrong

if DJ is on the outer, it may come down to him and Murphy for a spot on the list. i think age aside, Murphy will offer us more in the long run as a man on man defender who can go forward. Both would offer decent trade value which might be a factor in the decision, it would be a shame to see either go but it could be DJ's time.

I would have thought Jacobs is still in our best 22. I suspect he is carrying some kind of niggling injury where he can play but not worth the risk aggravating. Can't think of any other reason he is being left out.
