Playing like we did today, what's the point of going on and beating Adelaide? We wont be able to beat Saints or Geelong anyway.

Another wasted year. Bring out the broom and start again, beginning with MM!

We got within five goals of the best side all year, with a young team and with a puzzling free kick discrepancy. I'm pleased with how the boys played.

Come on mate, we played a bloody good side today(like we will in all finals) , and we were not smacked on the scoreboard anyway and we can play better, bit of luck here and there we are still a threat dont worry bout that.

wow, you don't know much about our squad or long term plan do you. no broom and no firing MM, just a stiff kick in the back side should do the job, lets the kids play and when there men we'll be the best in the comp

We can't be happy with today. We played terrible and a lot of players big names at our club should hang their heads today. We didn't get much from our young guys but that doesn't worry to much they will be better for the run. It might not happen this year but we need to move some older players on and let the new breed take over. There is no point naming them now because i don't wont it to look like I'm saying it just after a lost.

We're 50-odd points better than when we played them last so that's a pretty damn good start! We can certainly play alot better and some of our guns, I'm looking at you Didak/Davis, were far from great but Adelaide will a different prospect. I'm VERY confident going into next week :)

Fact is the point of going out next week is to win back some respect and beat a good team like adelaide, because we know we can do that.

Disgraceful thread heading this, far out i hope u don't come next week as its people like you we don't need at our club.

We have a young team, yeah we didn't play to our best, but we played well enough through out the year to DESERVE a second chance which is what we have.

Got faith that we can get over this one and go out and roll the crows next week :)

Go pies

And losing Pendles early is never going to help things

i wouldnt be pointing the finger at MM or the young guys (i thought Steele was very good considering his lack of gametime this year), our problem is the senior players who dont stand up in the big ones.

thing that annoys me, its like a broken record. Whenever we lose big matches its always Didak, Lockyer, Obree our ruck that lets us down.

fact of the matter is, Obree wouldnt be in the best 22 if players like Stanley had stood up and taken their chances in previous years.

You fool, Have a good look at yourself. Look its simple the pies are the 4th best team in the comp this year and we will finish like that unless we have a major stuff up next week. The saints are miles ahead, the cats are just behind and the dogs are just in front of us. Yeh wee need a broom a big bloody broom to sweep supporters like yourself out the door

God some people are off there face if we had of kicked accurately and some questionable decisions had of gone our way the game would have been over at half time. Unfortunately we didn't and our midfield had a bad day we have a double chance and now we face a team who we play very well against. We only got beaten by 28 points our midfield got dominated and our forward line got the yips says alot about how good our defense is.

^ Danny Stanley would have more impact on a game than obree. He is a massive body. He is more experienced, older and more mature then a lot of the players out there. MM has his love child's and Stanley definitely is not one of them. Will probably get De-listed at the end of the year and I sincerely hope he gets a crack at another club. I still have belief that with a few games he could be a very good footballer.
