...A team stayed on the bottom of the ladder from Round 1-22 without moving off the bottom?

Will the Dees manage that this year?

Nah Freo were only on the bottom from round 4 onwards that year...

Also, Melbourne's percentage after round 2 was 36.83%. The last time a team had a lower % than that after Round 2 was in 1996 when the Bulldogs had a % of 29.45% thanks to an 87 point loss to Brisbane and a 131 point loss to North Melbourne. They beat Fitzroy by 51 points the following week...and ended up coming 2nd last.

Sydney 1993 possibly, but they started with a bye so it would depend on how you would arbitrarily place them after round one.

It won't happen this year. Richmond will still end up with the spoon.

We don't have to finish last to get the number 1 pick. Remember last year?
Well remember if Richmond finish with less than 5 wins for the 2nd year in a row, last or not last, they get the number 1 pick. Of course, that doesn't mean that Richmond will stoop to Carlton's level of tanking.
