History suggests that Carlton do not respond well the week after the break - i'd look at that as an advantage to you guys.

History suggests that Carlton do not respond well the week after the break - i'd look at that as an advantage to you guys.
I agree that I the shorter break - which is still a full week - will NOT be an issue. We had the week before off, so we could quite conceivably be in a better rhythm than the Blues. It's only the 2nd game after the break so certainly shouldn't be a negative factor for our guys. 
Wow. I hadn't noticed that. Looks like Carlton have not won first game out of the break since 2001!

I'd sit him on a block of ice then make him watch the Carlton game.
i think his copping a fair whack YES it was stupid but did you see the reaction at 3qtr time you could tell that he was extremely dissapointed in himself and i think that shows maturity on his behalf...

It is not as if he was tearing it up guys, having one less player with no legs is better anyway. We already have Reimers and Prismall in the side!

I think he was coming good though and was primed and ready to fire this week -- However, it looks like he'll be even more fired up for the Pies so it isn't so bad.
It could of been worst, I'm happy that he only got a week. We should still beat Carlton.

He was just getting his base right up to the required standard. The Carlton game would have been right for him to go.
He could have played defence on Betts if he was tearing things up.
McVeigh right now is a better option than 90% of our list.
He's a professional athlete who's had a month of running and football.
FFS... please give us a break from this dribble.
