Where are they now? - Paul Meldrum

Does anyone out there know what Paul Meldrum is doing now and what he's been up to in recent years?

The last I heard was that, after he retired in 1992, he captain-coached Bacchus Marsh in 1993-94. Don't know anything about what he has done since.

I'm curious to know because, as an opposition supporter, I thought Meldrum was a quality player and was underrated by many. I haven't seen or heard anything about him for a long time.

Can confirm 100% Paul Meldrum is working for a Human Resource company in Victoria (no longer with Visy). I had a brief chat with him the other day.

Hey all,

Molly left Visy years ago.
I worked with him two years ago at a commercial printing and communication company; as far as I know he's still in the industry.
An absolute ripping guy, spoke fondly of his time at the blues; also worked with Matt Hogg who was really nice guy as well.

Was job hunting last time I heard. Was with that printing outfit (GEON Group) but they went into receivership earlier this year. Was with Visy from 1990 to 2009, the last few years as General Manager - WA before returning closer to home when he was GM up at Wodonga. He's done ok for a bloke who left school in Year 10. Quality individual. Was thrilled to hear him open up regarding Mots accident a few years back.
