I visit the QAFL board regularly, noted today that Matt Hammelmann has kicked 85 goals in 14 games this season.
Over the last 4 seasons he has kicked 355 goals in 70 games, an average of a smidgen over 5 goals per game.
Levi Casboult 73 goals in 16 games this season and another x Lion Jono Freeman 39 goals in 17 games.

Nah too old(29) and didn't want it enough apparently, which is fine, the level of dedication required for professional sport is not for everyone, some just like playing with their mates.Should we draft him?
Thats what I have been told also. I used to bang on about his goal kicking exploits on here, utterly perplexed as to why he wasn't getting a second crack. Happy with his career and playing local footy was the explanation given to me.Rumour is he's knocked back a few clubs that have enquired about him returning to the AFL as a mature age option.
Only played 9 games in the QAFL in 2024, kicked 30 goals, he did win the QAFL rising star as well. How many goals did Gallop kick last year?

What I take away from this, is that Casboult has retired to the Goldy and his kids will be in their academy.Finished the H&A season with 93 goals from 15 games to win the goalkicking for the 4th consecutive year.
Bit of a shootout in the Top of the table clash with Hammelman kicking 9 and Casboult kicking 8 (who finished 3rd in the goalkicking, on 80 goals from 17 games)

Bring's back fond memories... back in uni-days we organised a booze cruise on the Yarra with the night ending with me depositing a mate at St. Vincents Hospital at about 1am after falling between the boat and the dock and splitting his chin. He spewed in the taxi on the way to the hospital, and was comfortably lying on the Nicholson Street in the rain while I threw a handful of cash and apologies to the taxi driver. My mate then walked out of the hospital at about 5:30am and somehow got himself home in Brunswick.Keep them away from Robbo's kids https://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/c...e/news-story/d3806a19a03d8318b19c79bd8ca73577
Wait till you see their ladderUm, what's with displaying the team from the FF line down - its backwards, but hardly surprising given its come out of SA
