The smjfl, yarra jfl, wrfl all run what best for them & sometimes that doesn't match up with what is best for the vafa clubs

Sorry to shoot down your argument re the "West" but Willy Juniors fielded 16 boys teams in the WRFL in 2018, PEGS just 3 and Westbourne 0. Not much opposition for Willy there.

It was more of an example of how it could work, Flemington, st bernards are more that would fit into the ‘west’ zone.

The main point of the discussion is that smjfl, wrfl & yjfl run their own leagues to suit their own agendas & it’s not helping vafa clubs. I know this because after every game (or during sometimes) I speak to opposition committee members and time again it’s the same response ‘it doesn’t make it easy’
Even a simple thing having an u/16 or u/17 play up is a nightmare if a decision is made any later than a Wednesday
