Dane Swan seems to be nowhere. He is not on the injury list, not in Williamstown team?????????????

He was really the only bright spot in a gloomy year last season.

I emailed the club to see where he was. No responce. I know he had some trouble. Is he at trainning. He is good around the goals and he has got some speed which we really need.

as i recall Dane Swan was ok last year.....but i dont remeber him playin around goals, or that he had any speed...

it seems Dane has disappeared from face of the planet......would like to see him get some games atilly and push for selection in the Pies lineup, but with Chad at the club now i dont think we can have both of them in the side.....plus Dane's skills are pretty much the same as half the side at the moment

Probably still at Prince of Wales...

He has been there for a record of 57 Saturday nights in a row!!!

He could be on Williamstown's reserves list..

But I hope Swanny get's a game for Collingwood soon, this is really make or break season for him.

He ********ed his knee, will be out for a few weeks, just a minor injury.

He ********ed two security guards, will be out in 6 months, just a minor sentence

He was showing a lot of promise as a forward pocket, both at Williamstown and in sporadic bursts at senior level. Of course, this meant that Malthouse was compelled to move him to half back. Where he continued to do well in the first 8-10 games of last year. So Malthouse did his next move, benching him most of the game. Had the desired result - loss of confidence and an excuse to drop him.

Why do all Collingwoods young players head to the bench and then Williamstown. Some players get 10 minute careers. Have to start blooding some youth sometime.

i was at training today and he had a brace on his foot so i think he either injured his foot or ankle

Swanny is a good calm player who could play just about anywhere.
Remember the last game against Carlton last season when he was matched up against Half-Whitnall in the first quarter and in the 3 aireal contests Swan beat him one out.

That was a good match from Swanny.

Swanny is handy as a backman, but I am afraid that Morrison has stolen Lonie's spot - as Lonie is in big trouble, maybe dropped this week, and MM did have something to say a fortnight ago about Lones. Swan is probably 4th in line, remembering Maxwell is also fighting out, and even Mick's lovechild Matthew "Crazy" Lokan.

yes he had a lite session with just some handball drills and some pressure drills with bucks, swan, richard

I was behind the Collingwood boys today- Clokes, Stretch, Fraser, Shaws etc and they all looked fine! Didak wasn't there though
