wondering if any of you guys know - he hasn't been in the VFL team for a couple of weeks, yet isnt on the injured list.

Hope the poor bloke hasnt had another flare-up of his OP - hes a top guy and a fair player when he is flying fit. Deserves a bit of luck in what is obviously his last year to prove himself

Slade has dropped off the radar lately, i believe there was a whisper that his OP has returned.

Sorry but at the moment he is in the cross hairs. At the end of this year there has to be a bit of a tidy up and something tells me he might just sweept out the door. Unfair because I thought he showed promise but thats footy in the AFL. Either perform or dont let the door hit you on the A on the way out.

gfc.com does have him listed with a groin injury. for a player who has not looked close to getting a senior game in the last 18 months, you would expect his time at geelong to be winding down.

Will hasn't played a game since Round 13, 2003. So it's almost two full years since his last appearance.

The dog act from Yze that saw Will knocked out occured in Round 4, 2003.

I hope it's not OP but if the gfc.com.au says he's out with a groin injury then it's most likely it's OP seeing as he has had 2 or 3 times previously. Unfortunately for him by seasons end I think his time might be up. He's been unlucky with injuries and so forth but he's a 6'0 defender and they're really a dimeadozen in the AFL and the draft.

Lets hope he can get back on the field and show us what he is capable of.
