Vote: 9th-12th

I am still not convinced St Kilda have what it takes to make the eight. They have some great young players who look to have a great future in the game but I don't think they get enough out of their more experienced players.

St.Kilda have all the 'big name' youngsters, but we must remember that some of them havent played a senior game yet! They need another year (maybe two) to develop. So for me, they will be missing the eight.

Sounds an awful lot like our club.

I voted 9th - 12th but with a bit of luck they could finish 7th or 8th.

They've got the young talent but not the experienced guys to lead them and back them up.

can I bring up the subject of not rating the coach?

i am predicting the saints to finish last again

for riewoldt to be the next st kilda gun to join sydney

and joffaboy to come out of the closet and confess

that he is a homosexual hawthorn supporter

I think they will finish in between 9th and 12th. If things go well, a top 8 finish isn't out of the question, but if things go sour like they did last season, I wouldn't be suprised to see them finish bottom 4. Anywhere from 7th to 14th really.

Probably 9-12. They will have to have a huge improvement if they wanna finish in the top 8. But I'd say just out of the 8 this season, with 2004 being a top 8 spot.

The only way they'd get a decent youngster. The team that picked Fosdike, Fitzgerald and Bolton before home grown Morrish Medallist Lenny Hayes, and then bleed that they can't keep talent.

Not that there's anything wrong with that ;) The homosexual bit anyway.

Mightymax to declare that he named himself after prettyboy Hudghton and is a closet heterosexual St Kilda supporter.

hey falcoon,

you talk about the huge mistake the swans made with lenny hayes....

until they have a premiership medallion around their neck, sorry, i'm not interested.

but playing for st kilda i cant see lenny ever having one of those !

now wayne carey on the other hand - that was a screw up !

ha ha ha

maxy hudgeson. remember when he was crying ?

you think he would be used to losing playing for a rabble that IS st kilda.

I wouldn't quite base my opinions on whether you are interested or not, but thanks anyway.

He might be used to it, doesn't mean he has to like it. Showed character, although a knob like yourself would consider it a weakness I suppose?

I cant see St Kilda having a better year than Essendon or Collingwood in my opinion but Freo in the top 5?

Saints have a pretty good side - potentially

midfield. Harvey, Hayes, Thommo, Powell, Black, Burke, baker

talls Riewoldt, Kozza, Penny, Gehrig, Schwarze

mediums Hammill, Hudghton, Jones

smalls milne

unknowns but big reps: Goddard, Ball, Clarke Del Santo

I say potentially for a few reasons.

-will Harvey and Burke stay fit. Harvs has alreeady got an achilles problem holding his pre season back. Without them their midfield goes from excellent to just good.

-Thomas. Can he coach a side to finals footy. I seriously doubt it. Get wallace.

-how far can the kids carry them. All year? Who knows.

-theyre pretty weak in the ruck.

- theyre worst half dozen in the 22 arent all that strong.

But 9th is not out of reach though 10-12 more likely. I rate them a bit.

According to the arguments of some, we have the best ruckman in the comp, 2 premierships and all. Isn't that what footballers are measured by?
