It was a good win, my favourites, would be the 93 game against the Roo's at footy Port, the 97 Prelim, and obviously the two GF wins.

1993 - Rnd 8 Adelaide 19-9 (123) d Nth Melbourne 18-13 (121) Football Park Crowd - 45,564 <-- that was one hell of a game :)

I've got a real soft spot for the "Trent-Ormond Allen" game against the Saints in 1999.

Going back even further, our win over Hawthorn at Waverley in 1992 was way up there too. Behind all day to the previous year's premiers, to hit the lead in the last minute to snatch victory was a great, great win - particularly in an era when we did not travel at all well.

Ahh yes the day Peter 'spider' Everitt had his pants pulled down by the alibino boy from Adelaide:D:thumbsu:

That was our last ever game at Waverely.

I seem to recall another one, versus Hawthorn at AAMI in Macca's second or third year maybe? We were down by a fair bit deep into the match and it was wet as I recall and we came back hard in the last quarter to snatch it. The winning goal was a "Daicos" left foot dribbler from the right forward pocket Northern end. I was at the game with a mate and recall going nuts when the siren went.

Would be interested if someone else remembers this match - wouldnt mind getting it on DVD/VHS

I remember that game. It was a young McLeod (I think it might have only been his 2nd AFL game) and he was lining up next to Modra in the FP. Kicked 3 goals from memory including that match winner in the last few seconds of the game.

With Malcolm Blight commentating and after that goal he claimed 'a star has been born in Adelaide tonight' (or something along those lines). How right he was :D
