Well i was on the carlton website looking at the review, part one of course.
Looking at the names of some players and I was thinking of his 2005 season. Some of them had deplaurable 2005 seasons and to turn it around in 2006 was a big step. This thread is devoted to them, i know some would like to praise fev and whit, but this is for the guys that had bad 05's.
Wiggins: Didn't play that much in 2006 due to injuries, but the games he did play he turned into a below average player on the verge of being delisted into a toughnut aggressive flanker on either side of the ground. Good skills as well, and we do need that at the club.
Carazzo: Didn't see alot of him in 2005, pagan had massive wraps on the kid and that long hair looked like another great italian player for the blues. But a few average games didnt rank him too highly in my books. In 2006 he worked even harder, got fitter faster and cut his hair and reaped the benefits. The usual BB from time to time drifted forward to take an opposition sweeper and his shots for goal were horrible when somehow it landed in his hands. But then again cant forget the geelong goal.
Bentick: Half decent 2005, great game against collingwood. Other than that an average player. In 2006 Adam buckled down and become not a stopper but an attacking midfielder who didnt mind laying a tackle. Leading the blues tackle count.
Simpson: Im sure his AA speaks for itself..
