Ok so i have two spots left.. You do i pick out of these three players?

Callan Ward
Jack Ziebell
Patrick Dangerfield

apologies for the incorrect name spelling in advance.

I probably would not select any of them. Mulled over Ziebell and Dangerfierld but their records last year were not outstanding, so not really sure they have the upside this year.

If you are trying to fit a forward in perhaps Hayden ballantyne might be a better option.

being a north supporter obviously Im staggered by your comments ,,,Zeibell broke his leg FFS

Did murphy or gibbs get better with game time after their 1st 10 games??

Go read the nth forum and the comparisons to the kid......he will be an elite player of the future you saying he wont have an upside??

look outside in the real world...........outside of those navyblue colored glasses your using........

Dude relax, I am purely looking at it from a supercoach scoring perspective and for me dangerfield averages 50 - 60 per game and has not increased on this effort in NAB to any great extent.

Ziebell is probably the better of the two but as you said has been injured and may need more time before becoming elite. For me I do not see him gaining more cash than a highly rated rokie would. He has notbeen overly brilliant during NAB either to warrant a huge upside this year. I could be wrong but I am not willing to gamble my side on it.

I am not bagging your club, your players or your allegience to the north Melbourne footy club so take a chill pill.

i like ziebell the most out of those 3 but if u picking for the midfield mabye try mastern

Ziebell is the most preferred out of the three, last year he scored a 94 and this year scored a 70 in NAB. He has been avaeraging around 60 though. if he can ramp his scoring up to average 80 then he will be worthwhile but if he continues to linger around the 60 - 70 his price will not increase above the 400 K mark and therefore not generating significant cash to upgrade. Ther eis risk in every choice if you think he will get over the 80 mark this year then go for it. I am not convinced personally but you may be.

None, free up another 20K and get Masten if you can.

Ziebell will get more game time this year, I think he only got like 55%~ last year due to fitness. Dangerfield will probably play more midfield, might be worth a look... but I'd rather Masten.

It's probably worth keeping in mind that Dangerfield has an extra year on an AFL list when compared to Ziebell. It may mean that he is better prepared to make a bigger improvement this year.

On FanFooty it has been mentioned that Dangerfield has had an injury interrupted pre-season. Anyone have any details on this?

Yeah read the same thing about Danger. I was on both Ziebell and Danger at the start of the year but Danger's scores have been less than inspiring and now with his injury rumour im not so sure there's better value. Ziebell has been mentioned in North's plans for this year's midfield rotations which is gold for most breakout years. I'm stil undecided but i'd probably add Balla, Mayne and Medhurst to the group of maybes...and dare i say it Tex Walker :D who's built up a decent tank and playing a high forward type role this year so he's scores will definitly improve..just by how much is the main question.

Danger is fine. He had a knee clean out in Jan and was off training for about a week. Apart from that, he is fit and ready. As for Chris Masten, if you are doing SC, forget it, unless you want 30 possessions for 70 SC points. This guy is suited to DT, not SC.

Ziebell will play more midfield this year and be a great player. Im hoping for a 15-20 ppg increase from him, as I am with Danger.

and dare i say it Tex Walker :D

Don't think I could bring my self around to picking this guy in the near future. :o Mind you looking at his scores from last year he didn't need much of the ball to score well... but most of the time he get much of it.

Out of the three player mentioned in the OP i'd take Danger and Ziebell.:thumbsu:
