ASOS should stay elevated and give Sheehan the spot after the bye. He's still on our rookie due to special permission from the AFL because of injuries. He needs games in the AFL if we are to find out whether he should get a senior list spot next year.

Having said that, hopefully the rules are changed then anyway and there won't be rookies.

Silvagni is way out in front. It surely can't be anyone else.

He has been playing terrific football & with Rowe now out for the remainder of the year, he looms as a critical part of our defensive setup.

He's on the senior list now for Byrne - and will be for the next month or so - but with Casey now back in full training he'll need to find another way on and this seems a logical move.

If we're allowed another rookie upgrade after the half way point of the year - this was a rule previously but I'm unsure as to whether it remains the case - I reckon we may leave it open, as we have done previously. Unless there's a clear standout - and I don't think there is at the moment - give all the guys some real motivation to perform with a spot there to be taken.
