They have. Still more concerned about Melbourne.

Can't see Fremantle stopping our midfield, Darcy and Naughton. Should have beaten them in Perth with players out including Bontempelli who they have historically had no answers for.
Lucky to win that game. I had 15k on Dockers. 2nd quarter won it for them. How it was close at qtr time is beyond me.

They won't have that luxury at Marvel. If the dogs are on they won't lose
Agreed. If dogs are on they could beat anybody like we saw last week. That's what was expected of them all season. Dogs at their best are very, very dangerous.

Not relevant. All hawks have to do is beat Melbourne and either GWS, Freo or Dogs miss out. Hawks have GWS best on percentage unless GWS outdo the Hawks by 200+ points. If Freo lose to Port or Brisbane and the Hawks beat Melbourne the Hawks are safe no matter what and Dogs v Freo turns into an elimination final.
If Freo beat Brisbane and Port they will be safe on 16 wins

If Hawks then lose to Brisbane they could drop below the Bulldogs if Bulldogs win all 3 remaining.

Young didn't play in that game either and he should be back to complement the Freo midfield

maybe. But Bont will have the joy of playing on Luke Jackson who we have been playing as a midfielder when he's not giving Darcy a rest in ruck (since Treacy/Voss/Amiss are locked in as our tall forwards). One of the reasons we have won 10 of the past 11 (11 of 12 if we down Port) inc. GWS, Collingwood, and GC away. Hawks were the talk of the town when they did that last year (well almost, they were 11:2 even though 6 of those wins were against bottom 4 teams) but happy to keep flying under the radar. 🤷‍♂️

Freo have looked a little shaky lately and their run home is a little tricky.

This is a great Dockerism trait.

When Freo look great, they lose winnable games.

When Freo are shaky, they are running below the form radar. Below the radar is when Freo play best.

I hope Suns get top 4 I think they will. Shoukd win all 4 remaining games. Carlton could be a banana skin but suns shojkd still get find a way to win. Simply more polished. Obviously.

I'll still go with Hawthorn getting 15 wins and missing the 8

Freo to beat Brisbane in WA and Giants beating Gold Coast at carrara are the only iffy games
From the same poster who said we wouldn’t win more than 2 game after May.

The Bulldogs are favourites to miss. Need to beat Fremantle (who they should start favourites against, but not strong favourites) as well as Melbourne and West Coast.

GWS can possibly afford to slip up once, whilst the Bulldogs simply can't at all.
Melbourne is a potential banana peel match based on what has happened this week. We are in the same boat next week. They have been ok since early in the year and now have some added motivation to finish the season strong.

With last nights result GWS are favourites to miss now.

If all the favourites win coming home (which won't happen) Hawks finish 8th and play Pies at the MCG  .
Giants have to win at least 2 by big margins to get somewhere near our percentage. They than have to hope we scrape past Melbourne and lose by plenty to Brisbane. I'd suggest an unlikely scenario as we haven't been beaten by more than 2 goals for 3 months. Saints usually don't cough up cricket scores so there only chance is this weekend IMO.

Defensively they are very strong. Pearce will be back by than and he's a pretty good matchup for Darcy. Not many key defenders taller than him. We dominated territory for large periods the other week but they were too good at absorbing it and we had nothing left when they flicked the switch in the last quarter. Only reason they are not top 4 is because they started slow.

Why would they hope you scrape by Melbourne?

Every club not playing Melbourne is actually hoping Melbourne win every game as it opens up more opportunity to make/stay in the eight.

If Melbourne win 1 of the 3 the team they beat is probably the team to miss.
