The Studio (Apple) - was never a huge Seth Rogen fan until I saw him in the Fabelmans where I thought he was good.

Co creator and main star on this one about his character being appointed head of a movie studio. Have watched first four eps so far and really liked it and funny with some great lines that can be missed in fast action. Episodes 2 & 3 were excellent and shot in one go. Ep 2 especially so well done.

Cranston with some cameos so far been his usual brilliant best ..apparently plays a bigger role in later eps. Looking forward to finishing this off
Finished the season and holy f*** ep 9 has got to be one of the wildest funny eps in recent years. Cranston in the last 10-15 mins is absolutely hilarious. Great stuff

Each summer I have caught up on shows I should have watched but didn’t

My fave catch ups were binging Succession and Shogun

This January I am thinking Peaky Blinders. Yes or no?
I really enjoyed Peaky Blinders, there was an interview with Steven Knight and Stephen Graham in the Graund today which I'm sure just coincided with the first look at the film.

Started Welcome to Wrexham season 1

Knowing how most of it ends has spoiled the narrative a little but I still think there are some interesting bits to watch by knowing how it ends

Trying to smash through the Pitt before new season starts as getting a lot of FOMO seeing it on a lot of end of year lists.

Also finally managed to finish twin peaks s2 at end of last year after many years of stalling. Went straight from s2 into Fire Walk With Me so now starting The Return.
Astor and Lido are showing all 18 episodes of The Return on the big screen across one weekend at the end of month.
Im not keen on spending 18 hours of a weekend in a dark cinema (surprisingly ) so just trying to watch first 7 episodes at home before then so I can watch episode 8 on the big screen, Ive heard its one of the best episodes of any tv show.

ER S11 managed to sync the Xmas ep to Xmas day without even meaning to :sunglasses:

there was one episode when during a trauma they were discussing their favourite Wiggle (Luka Kovac liked Jeff), this on a network American procedural in 2004-05.

the end of Carter. Corday & Chen also quietly left earlier in the season, Susan also does the disappearing act early in S12. The Greene (+ in a different sense Romano) goodbye a hard act to follow I guess. Had a few decent eps in there, usually name guest stars with a patient pov like Ray Liotta & Cynthia Nixon (Abby also gets abducted at gunpoint to save a gang member). The Neela-Gallant romance is sweet.

Greys Anatomy & House have also entered the chat so we’re now into the lesser seen era of ER. Thankfully all the eps are back on iView now (as hoped) so I can finish it!

Then I can give The Pitt a go, which you can’t really do halfway through an ER revisit, particularly given Wyle. Family members keep recommending it to me and I keep saying it’ll have to wait.

The Pitt was the best show I have watched last year, and it'd be in my all time list.

Gee Stanger Things has been a grind. Ep 6 especially which I have stopped and started 4 times so far.

Is the finale a pay off? I suppose that outcome is maintaining my struggling interest
I don't get what issue you have with it. It's a great season. Get's a bit "travel here and there to move things along" at one point which is my only issue.

Comparatively it isn’t a great season compared to the rest; bloated with over explanatory conversations mostly; the acting has regressed when you’d think that with all the $ and time these kids should now be elite

I did manage to get through Ep 6 this afternoon and the only one I care about is Max. Hopefully she makes it to the end.

Evil Influencer: The Jodi Hildebrandt Story

I had no idea about this event and far out nuts
Saw that. We ended up watching the Devil in the Family doco on Disney too which shows a lot more behind the scenes footage from the mum's YouTube channel. Its stories like this why I don't trust a lot of religous people.
