Could see the legs of one creeping out under my bonnet this morning, like little dangly fingers trying to pry it open from underneath.

The pedal was put to the metal at that moment.

Speed doesn't bother them, i've done 180 trying to get a huge wolf spider off my windscreen. It laughed at me, then crawled around the drivers window. I actually drove to my cousins, rang him from inside the car, and demanded he come out, find the spider and kill it. He managed to brush it off the car with a broom and it ran down the street. ****en hard ***** they are.

I love spiders. Want to sit down? Simply say to a girl who is sitting that there is a spider on their chair, when they get up and scream simply take their seat. Instant seat (and reputation as a dick but who cares.)

Came home tonight, saw this on my front door, reminded me of this thread, thought it was due for a bump.

Enjoy. :D:thumbsu:

Funny you say that. Cleaned up all the cobwebs (as evident in that photo :p) around the outside of the house yesterday and killing all the smallish ones that were sort of lurking around. Thought that would get rid of them. Wrong!

Bro came home at 4am this morning and almost into a giant web and the giant orb web spider that was spinning it. Dad took photo on his phone so can't upload, but it was about the same size as that huntsman.

I guess the bumpers of this thread get the spider curse twice as bad :(.

Did You Know?

In a recent case that has baffled scientists, many hundred mouse spiders were captured and removed from a single suburban backyard in Newcastle, New South Wales. Experts from the Australian Reptile Park, the Australian Museum and Sydney,s University of Technology made numerous visits to the garden and in the end the entire backyard was excavated and removed to counter this invasion.

I remember reading about this in one of the Sydney newspapers at the time. In the article the house owner said sometimes he'd look out over his backyard and the earth almost appeared to be "moving" due to the volume of spiders on the crawl.
He also said the air was filled with a constant "clicking" noise. The "click" was the sound of the fangs of one spider puncturing the abdomen of another.

I'd have moved to ****ing darfour. **** that. Mouse spiders are hideous, if i saw a single one i'd attack with an axe. But thousands? Like i said i'd be a spec on the horizon

Haha, yeah, nah. **** that. Sounds like a nuclear warhead was in order. :thumbsu:

Have been on a killing spree the past month. Must be the year of the redback because I've killed close to about 20 of the *****ers.

Found one in my daughters room after she came running out screaming her head off the other day. Might have to stock up on more surface spray as I killed another 3 last night outside near the pool.

****ing hate spiders.

Despite it being summer, I've not seen one spider bigger than a 10 cent piece. Last year we had Redback spider galore, this year nothing but the little jumpy spiders. Good to know the pest control is working :D
