Who are our bottom six?

Perhaps more accurately, who are those that are automatic selections when fit?

We only have 17 players currently fit who are best 23. Weightman and JUH would make it 19.

So our bottom six, indeed appear to be the issue.

I think the automatic selections are (as it stands at the end of R12 2025) - in no particular order:

Trealor extended our bottom 6, zero impact on the game and a midfielder down every time he was at the centre square. Had McNeil not had a shocker of all games Adz would have likely been subbed (as i saw the game)

I have loved his time at the dogs but he doesn't have too many other strings to his bow and worry his calf makes him a major liability. I don't trust him for finals. Please prove me wrong Adz

When you say things like that about Adz i think you are a bit harsh on him lets not forget when he missed a lot of the pre-season came back did it again cost him another 5 weeks and there was a set back for him so there i would say with all fairness he's a bit under done needs time to pick up on his fitness may be in the two's for starters serous note here i would say bramble Mcniel and Naughton are the one's that needs to be looked at , I didn't the two's but from what i've heard the kids like Jaques , kennedy , bussliger and Coffield are one's that bevo should be looking at too bring in

No, they wouldn't and there's our problem. Would rather Hynes, Busslinger and Jaques and/or Dolan get a game ahead of these three.

They absolutely wouldn’t, at least for any team outside the bottom four.

There is hardly any value in playing these guys, definitely not all at the same time. Blooding someone who might be an AFL level depth player and seeing what they’ve got is better than selecting someone we know isn’t at the level. I understand we need to balance that week to week (ie not play 7-8 guys under 30 games) but playing the above three harms our chances in the long run imo.

As good as they have been this year, for this team to be genuine contenders, Davidson, Harmes, JOD, Cleary and Buku should be competing for the last spots in the team, not key parts of our structure.

Gardner, McNeil, Bramble, Dolan and an unfit Treloar should be nowhere near senior selection.

Not sure how or why you'd include Dolan in there. Personally I reckon he has a lot of upside.

JOD is becoming a very good key back and most teams would have him in their 22.

Buku is not a key part of structure once Darcy is back. Buku has done a great job playing as the 2nd tall in Darcy’s absence.

Davidson and Harmes are role players who have had more good games than bad.
