What a classy comeback from a pathetic individual. At least stick to the subject you fool.

This has been my response for a while. Did you miss the earlier post?

Anyhoo, if we're talking about class, perhaps you could explain to us all why a mature male gets so hot under the collar about another person criticising a tight jean wearing, permed haired guitar player?

Please quote the post where I indicated I was attracted to Dave Mustaine. Your argument reminds me of one of those kids walking around the school yard that gets told by everyone they are a ******** and then says 'well I know you are, but what am I?' over and over. Frigging sad man, grow up, FFS.

I'm totally fine with this guy having an opinion. I don't like overly ****y metal like Metadeth either.

I'm just curious as to how the way a person looks has any relevance to the music whatsoever. Being that you're a hardcore punk fan, I'm not suprised that you seem to judge things in such a way.

Edited to wonder out loud why the filter blocks the colloquial term for masturbation.

I'll start quoting from where the original personal abuse started, shall I? Then we shall see just where the school yard antics started.

You are just a little **** mate- if you grew up today, you'd be a frigging emo. You are confusing THRASH METAL (real music, like MEGADETH), with ****ty little punk bands that fizzled out in the 80's, or have done **** all since. Whiny little boy thrash? Whiny little boy punk, thats what I say. Those bands were out wetting their pants when they realise they could NEVER play anything nearly as good as guys like Dave Mustaine. Go play with your trucks out in the sandpit, d1ckhead. Tornado Of Souls completely and utterly sh1ts over ANYTHING any of those bands (okay, Slayer isnt bad, but nowhere near as good as Rust In Peace or Peace Sells...) ever did in their parent's garage.

And if you go back you will see where I attempted to diffuse a school yard argument with the line
It's all subjective anyway.

Surely this should have been an indication that you have your opinion, and I have mine?

Yes let us see where the school yard argument ACTUALLY started:

I guess you're right. Considering I never heard real thrash bands (and saw them live in USA when I lived there) like D.R.I., Suicidal Tendencies, MDC, Slayer, Dr Know, Hirax, Gang Green, Agnostic Front etc, etc.

These were real thrash bands who played hard, and the reason they weren't famous is that they were true to hardcore thrash, not watered down pansy arsed thrash like Megadeth.

I put it to you lot, that you're all pansies for liking Megadeth and their whiny, little boy thrash. Go out and listen to REAL thrash and learn something.

It's all subjective, for christ's sake, and I just happen to think Megadeth never wrote one decent song, and also had crappy t-shirts.
You call us pansies who listen to 'whiny, little boy thrash' and call that trying to diffuse an argument?

And you are the one that came on to a thread about a band you clearly dislike just to spread negative **** and you want me to think you are the diplomatic one? Once again, you prove how big a fool you are.

Oh, and lets see what the results of the poll are. Feel free to vote.

Wah, wah, wah.....

I don't need the results of a poll to know what my opinion is. Feel free to believe that your opinion is justified due to the results of a poll based on an internet forum. You must be proud?

Oh, and what about those puink bands who are always 'pissing their pants' simply by being on stage? That was a cracking analogy.

ps. Megadeth still suck... IN MY OPINION! Was that slow enough for ya, Einstein?

why dont you both shut up?

Why don't you start sentences with a capital letter, or use an apostrophe in your contractions? I guess they're all questions that will be left unanswered.
I thought we were alll having fun.

Excuse me while I digress....

Just like to make a mention of the Megadeth gig i attended on Saturday evening. Brilliant stuff Dave!

Carry on!

I think about Megadeth in a similar way that I do about Metallica, ie. creative peak was literally decades ago. The only difference is that 'Deth have only produced one TRUE classic Metal album (RIP), whilst 'Tallica have produced 3....

It's a good album, but wouldn't call it an all time Metal classic....
Well, simply put, youre wrong then

Rust In Peace, Peace Sells, and Killing Is My Business are all metal classics

Metallica have at least 5 truely classic albums

Black Album
Master of Puppets
Ride the Lightning
Load
Reload
Kill em All

HAHA 6!!

No, i agree Peaces sells is a once in a lifetime CD, but:

metallicas black album is a sell out, millions of sells world wide but it is getting old now,

Master of Puppets is close to peace sells,
ride the lighning is not far off that,
load reload is not as good, but still classics,

and may i ask you a question, whippersnipper? do you like metallica as well as Megadeth?

Of course I do- and I happen to think that Ride The Lightning is one of the three greatest metal albums of all time. I just think the true metallica died when Cliff Burton did. They managed to keep it up for one more album, then the lure of fortune and fame (and Bob Rock) got too much and they sold out.

Yeah I agree - Megadeth 1 classic album and Metallica 3.

RIP is easily Megadeth's classic album. Peace Sells would be second but not quite a classic overall album IMO. Definately has some classic tracks though.

Don't know which 3 Metallica albums you mean, but for me, Lightning, Puppets and Justice are the 3, with Kill Em All like Peace Sells, some classic tracks, and probably has more of a place in metal history than their others, but as an overall album, not quite as good as the others. (I aplogize if that is blasphemy :p)

Hey, on a bit different subject, anyone played Guitar Hero on PS2? I've been getting pretty addicted to it recently. But anyway, just found out Hanger 18 is gonna be on Guitar Hero 2 :thumbsu: (along with Anthrax and Suicidal)

I mean the 1st 3 'Tallica albums. Kill em All>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>AJFA, IMO. I find AJFA pretty boring, and not a classic at all.
