So what's your argument? The thread want about punk, it was about Megadeth and thrash- you are just a little pinhead trolling around. No cares about your sh1tty little punk bands who still p1ss their pants on stage. They can't write or play decent music and thats the main thing.

Meh, their music is still soft. Sounds like my little sister trying to be tough. Megadeth were NEVER Hard, they simply played soft metal a bit faster.The guitars always soiunded like they were tuned too high rather than having any grunt, and that was even evident live.
Your love for Mustaine has clouded your judgement. I bet you've lost quite a few loads over those masculine Megadeth pictures hanging on your bedroom wall. Haven't you!

I guess you're right. Considering I never heard real thrash bands (and saw them live in USA when I lived there) like D.R.I., Suicidal Tendencies, MDC, Slayer, Dr Know, Hirax, Gang Green, Agnostic Front etc, etc.

These were real thrash bands who played hard, and the reason they weren't famous is that they were true to hardcore thrash, not watered down pansy arsed thrash like Megadeth.

I put it to you lot, that you're all pansies for liking Megadeth and their whiny, little boy thrash. Go out and listen to REAL thrash and learn something.

Hirax is B Grade "Bay Area Thrash" and most of that Bay area Thrash is complete garbage anyway.
Old Slayer is really cool, and the only good band on your list.....

If you want to talk about "true thrash" then we have to mention bands such as Kreator, Sodom, Destruction, Testament, old slayer, Old Metallica, Old Megadeth, Overkill,Possessed, Old Celtic Frost,Metal Church, Old Sepultura,Old Angel Dust, Dark Angel, Death Angel,Iced Earth, Heathen , RAZOR, - all of these bands are much more "harder" then the bands you have mentioned, but to me unlike you i dont care how "tough" a band is, its all about the music. And again all of these bands have way more better skills then the punk bands you posted.
Its pretty funny seeing a hard core punk kid talk up his whiney punk bands and put down thrash metal lol
Dave Mustaine is a excellent guitarist as well, he is 100 times better then the guitarists in your list - except for the slayer guitarists.

Well that was a load of rubbish, but as you **** rock metal head types don't seem to realise...it's all subjective. I think Megadeth were/are crap and, as much as you won't admit it, thrash started with punk bands. It was bastardised by metal bands who jumped on the bandwagon and tried to make it comercial.

Oh, and one more thing. Lead breaks are for ****ers, and should have been outlawed with the 5 minute song.

MDC is hardcore punk band
Dr Know is punk
Gang Green is hardcore punk
Agnostic Front is hardcore punk

You imbecile, Slayer and Hirax are the only two bands you on your list that can even BEGIN to be considered thrash. Hell, if you wanna get all technical about it, many people consider Slayer early death metal as well, of the Possessed type mould of deaththrash. And Megadeth is considered speed metal, a crossgenre of thrash metal. Regardless, theyre still better than any of the bands mentioned thus far

they just wrote music....just because your brand of thrash became non existent doesn't mean that bands like megadeth 'ruined it'

i agree megadeth cannot be exclusively categorised as thrash metal....there isn't a band out there that sounds like them and for me that makes em pretty f***** good

as for your second point a wrong choice of words on my behalf, i know it still exists....i have heard those bands - not much i might add - as i'm no huge thrash metal fan, but i acknowledge the merits of your argument

but megadeth didnt ruin any type of music...they just recorded some killer metal albums in my opinion
