Would like to hear the opinions of others as to who should replace current CEO Cameron Schwab.
Personally, I believe that his replacement should and will come from outside the Club.

Very disappointing, I really thought that someone amongst the diehard supporters on here would have something intelligent to contribute on what is, I believe, a very important topic.

Sadly whilst I think this is an important issue its probably a really bad time after what happened yesterday to get a serious answer on this.
Give us all a few days to convince ourselves not to commit suicide and we'll probably have some decent debate about it on this board.

Ok mate, you want a comment.

I was of the belief up to yesterdays game we probably should promote someone from within the club, someone homegrown so to speak. Just to keep the $$$ rolling in and keep the ship steady.

After yesterdays debacle I think we need to employ someone who is not afraid to break down the walls and rebuild the culture and M.O. A CEO from within the club may have too many loyalties or favours owed to really take the hard decisions which go beyond just the $$$. This is a critical decision by the board and they cant ____up.

I think that it may take more than the farm but he would be a great get.

We're not short of cash...and he went to Geebung when they were a basket case, so he obviously likes a challenge...

I would be severely dissappointed if we didn't make a serious enquiry at the very least

Actually I thought it was a good time and it might provide a diversionary option for a lot contemplating suicide.

You do mean Michael CHANEY? Good call but I don't think he'd be interested. It would be something of a backward step for someone of his profile.
Yes, getting the spelling mixed up with the Neo-con..

He is a Freo supporter so you never know.

I agree 100%, I am of the belief that there isn't anyone currently at the Club who could do the job in a manner that is required.

Too much is made of success off the field. we need not only a CEO but a president that have a balanced view on off filed and on field success and you

If Hart got the boot from the Presidency, then that is a move in the right direction. The man is a Muppet, who uses the Freo Footy Club as a vehicle for his business first, then cares what happens to us second. Whats more he has the charisma of a sundried Dog ____. Bye bye Rick.

On the CEO front, FreoShark is spot on. Bring someone from outside, WAY OUTSIDE the club. We need people who can make tough decisions with no emotional attachment.
