Collingwood Vs Adelaide 2009 elimination final...adelaide were "robbed i tell ya,robbed"....haha it was great to watch the scum think they had it coz they were 40 points in front and then choke against us again...second game ive been to where they were that far in front and we beat them..
Was there for the Carman goal, he was such a talent. Was also at the Junction oval for 2 other interesting games. Anyone remember Ian Mc Orist? Six goals from a Half forward flanker ( at least 2 from drop kicks ) on debut wasn't a bad start. But my personal favourite was the famous Preston/Dandenong GF when "Frosty" Millar got a goal from a free kick BEFORE the game had even started.pies vs lions juncition oval (i think) 1977. 75m torp from carman split the sticks. kicked 7. demoralised the lions on his own. 1st rd i think

Was at Johnny Greening's comeback game against Richmond at the G ( was also at Moorabbin the day Jimmy O'Dea clocked poor Johnny) At the comeback match even the Tiger supporters were crying at the courage Greening displayed. He was serviceable that day but he was never the same JG again.
This is a great thread for those nostalgics amongst us!
May I propose another couple of topics? Best debut game by a Collingwood player & best individual game.
