Not sure if this helps resolve this discussion as I haven't read it, but I'm pretty certain I said publicly a few times I would return to The Bears at some point, long before I had discussed it with anyone other than Mwerps and baz.

I wasn't poached or recruited, I'm keeping a promise.

That said, if I had known the Gumbies would be losing additional players to me there's a 90% chance I would have stayed and delayed my promise keeping.

Gumbies are tight though, they'll be aight.
