HF: Medhurst - Cloke - Lockyer

FF: Dick - Rusling - Davis

vs.

FB: O'Brien - N.Brown - L.Brown

HB: Barham - Maxwell - Macaffer

C: Cook - McCarthy - Johnson

RR: Jolly - Pendlebury - Sidebottom

HF: Fraser - Dawes - Thomas

FF: Didak - Anthony - Corrie


Either way, its a great situation where we could theoretically put both teams on the park. Shows that depth is no problem.

It's got our number 1 ruck, our most important (IMO best) mid in Pendles. Our number 1 foward in Anthony. Oh and Didak too. Really good effort it's hard to do these things and make it even, but I would deffinately go with 2nd team.

I'll go the underdog (according to this thread), that being the 1st team.

I just think the 1st team has a more potent forward line, with only Didak and Anthony being consistent on the 2nd teams forward line.

Plus team 1 has Swanny, and he is our dual Copeland Trophy winner.

Would be a fun intra club to watch.

Haha I thought the first team was the better team when I made it. I thought it had a better backline with Presti, Shaw and then Toovey and Goldsack being proven at AFL level. Maybe I overrated those two.

I also thought the forward line was better too.

Maybe someone else could make it more even?

Im defs going with team 2. Id take Anthony over cloke and team 2 has jolly and pendelbury, Maxwell and Harry O as well. it would be a good game to watch though!

I don't see team 1s forward line being any better. If it was 09 Medders I think team 1 would struggle. Cloke would more than likely not kick any goals and Rusling would get injured mid game.
If each team played good footy I think it would be a close game that could go either way but on the most recent form I think team two would win by 20+.

As good as Swan is I don't think he has the ability to influence a match in the same way the Pendles does.

Team 1 has the better backline but only because of Presti.

To rate team one's foward line is to show confidence in Cloke's ability to be the absolute number one key foward, something he has not been able to do over the course of his career.

Maxwell is the sort of defender Cloke would struggle on. Harry O to Medhurst leaving Brown too Rusling and Jolly blocking the whole.

L Brown could even play on Cloke leaving Maxwell to be the loose man.
