both super tough, but maybe Voss tougher due to his touch of mongrel, but Selwood a better player, easily.

Selwood is a super player but easily better then Voss? I have not seen a midfielder "easily" better then Voss, he was amazing. Toughness is hard to rate but Brett Kirk would have to be right up there

Selwood is courageous, but no more courageous that 10-12 other players in the competition. He's not particularly special.

Voss was genuinely tough. He would go full steam in to a contest and hurt blokes in the process.

There you go.
opinions opinions opinions.
Some of the spice of life.
I reckon Voss was never even the best midfielder at his club!

As for other current tough players, how would you like a team with Sloane, DeBoer, Jack, Kerr (dislike immensely, but tough), Lonergan, J Brown, Hayes?

As much as I love Vossy I am going with Selwood. Although Voss was tough when you didn't get frees for a fingernail on the shoulder. Voss was also a fair bit bigger which makes it easier to be tough.

I'll probably get knocked for this but I agree. Sure his attack on the footy is good but it isn't as great as say Mitch Robinson.
Funny that Voss accentuating contact is brought up in this thread..what do people think Selwood does?
