Jason Cloke?

I think he would be a much better pick up than Polak and we wouldn't have to give up half as much to get him. His form wasn't that bad when he got a game this year and with a new environment he may just recapture his 2002 form.

Thoughts....

I'd prefer leprosy before Cloke or Solomon.

I would love Polak at the Tigers, I think we should offer Cogs and pick 26 for Polak an pick 13. Im a big fan of Cogs but if we had Polak picks 8 and 13 I wouldnt mind at all. But if we fail to get him I wouldnt mind J.Cloke or Perry, both would come cheap and Personally I think both could go alright in defence.

Gee that's funny. Jason cloke is a carbon rod. There are better players out there. The clokes will be lucky to be taken in the PSD let alone traded for this week.

Because he is a Cloke.

And because if he's not good enough for the scum, why would we he be good enough for us?

GENIUNE HACK

Just quietly Ryan Ferguson is Lewis Roberts-Thompson with a better haircut. In his career to date he's made three good spoils and taken one 'courageous' mark.

:) WITH you on this one, buddy! One good season does not make a career. Just ask David Bourke.
Cloke was exposed long, long ago.
And let's just say....as in previous years, clubs are going to steer clear of the Collingwood players, who it is well known will be delisted once the trading period is over!

Thornton would be the best of the players on offer but how do you get him when the baggers aren't interested in even talking about it? We don't need to sell our soul to get a key defender- if we can pick up a nice one for nothing great- otherwise, we only lose Kellaway from what we had last year and gain Thursfield plus another pre-season for McGuane, Graham, Shulz etc.
Stick to the plan- don't undo all the good work by getting back to swapping picks for someone's second's players with "potential" who have been "in the system" for a few years.
Build from the draft like the Eagles did from 2001 when they finished 14th or whatever. Chick and Stenglein are the only two from the flag winners that immediately spring to mind as being from other clubs in that time. Both were proven players not potential players. The Eagles knew exactly what they would offer the side- they didn;t need to guess what they could offer.
Since Worsfold arrived for the 2002 season-
Hunter, Cox and Glass come on- (debuted in 1999,2000/01)
Graham, Lynch, Hansen Seaby, Staker all big guys who Woosha has taken and then developed through the draft system. It takes time but now they're all likely yo be around for at least five more years (all of them) and the Eagles will have a sustained run of success as a result. Not one of them was playing seconds for Melbourne, Freo, Kangaroos etc

You should be banned from this website, have your membership cut up and thrown to the sharks. Obviously you are a Collingwood supporter, is that you Zeke?

Weaver... deal with this imposter.

Relax a bit Wal.

I was just trying to say if we are chasing someone like Polak, then Cloke would be a better pick up. Same position player and he is probably a little better than Polak.

No need to get your knickers all caught up...

Cloke is 189cm compared to Polak 195cm. They don't play the same position. Cloke drifts across half back, much the way P Bowden plays.
