Why do we bit?

I have been a regular surfer on this site for the last couple of years – It should be know as the Collingwood Big footy, Nearly (90%) all thread that are started (on the general board) has a reference to Collingwood. What is amazing is that Non-Collingwood people start these threads.


My question is why do Collingwood Fans always get caught up with Stupid Posters- - There are posters here, that do not have a life (No need to mention names, they know who they are), every reply to new thread, has some kind of negatively towards that CLUB. That’s is fine,

Everyone is entitled to his or her views and options, but there are some posters, on the general board who are just little kids, you know this by the childish replies they post. – No matter what topic, they have something stupid to say, and to make matter worst, they get personal with their replies. (I know there are Collingwood posters who do the same and that is even worse)

One test I would like to conduct is for All Collingwood poster to stop posting any replies to threads on the general board. Why, Just a test to see what would happen to the general board and those who have no life - Ignore them and they will go away, image how empty their lives will be

Love us or hate us, we are Collingwood and you are not. The Hate is getting stronger every day, like the good old days, Them against US, Is the way we like it

That's an interesting concept.
But chances are they (non-pies) would still talk about Collingwood in one form or another... it's like they're infatuated.

I reply to them because I find it fun. I have always been a bit of a sh1t stirer and like to test peoples commitment to their argument.

Nothing wrong with defending your club. (Or 'biting' as it is referred to by nerds and geeks) They bag us so much its only fair we balance it out by being the most proud and outspoken fans in the league.

It is quite funny the amount of threads about us started by non-Collingwood supporters though. Even funnier is that certain non-Collingwood BF posters only post when the thread is in relation to us or Eddie (hello grayham). Very unhealthy fixation. They don't even post in threads about their own club!

I personally only post in the Collingwood threads or threads which may relate to us. I rarely ever go to threads about other clubs just to make negative coments. In fact I don't think I posted a single line hanging it on Carlton during the off-season for all their troubles. I get 50 times more enjoyment out of my own club being successful than the downfall/bad luck of another club. Unfortunately for some other footy fans its the other way round.

Agree - re defending the CLUB - Those who say the Collw**ble (sorry con not say it) are back, have no idea about footy or what the term means

I do beleive we will have the last laugh. The pre-season result, brought us back to earth, and all energy will be focused for the furture - and we do have a big future - unlike some...
