Because there's no such player?

Rhyce Shaw, on the other hand, is listed as an emergency, and I would imagine that he is a chance to come in for perhaps Ryan Lonie pending a fitness test.

how do people still manage to get his name wrong?!?!?!?!?!

There will be at least one late change i reckon and he would be the main one id say

Out: Wakelin
In: Rhyce

& I hope Lonie gets dropped never seen a softer player in my life. Lonie makes Woewodin look like Jonathan Brown.

About bloody time they dropped Licca, how that bloke won 2 Copelands is beyond me

Thats harsh Moshy, he was superb in those two years..

His run, ball winning ability & hardness around the contests were a standout.

Sure, his best is well & truly behind him, but to sell him short & not pay him the respect this bloke deserves is just wrong!

Licca bleeds black & white & if I wanted ONE bloke next to me in the trenches, matter of life & death, it would be PAUL LICURIA :thumbsu:

Alot of our players on our current list can gain alot from this bloke.

Attributes such as hardness at the footy, work ethic & he is an absolute role model off the gorund aswell.

Players on our list could gain a lot less as well, how not to dispose of the ball, choosing the wrong option, and don,t go over the ground like pregnant ant.

Could not agree more. I think the finals game on francou who was in red hot form stands out the most. One of those players who lacked some of the flashy skills and arguably even some of the fundementals to start off with but worked tirelessly to do whatever he was asked and has been a great servant of the club

I'll never say he didn't bleed black and White and yes his best game was the QF in 2002 but to be quite honest the blokes heart got him games b/c Malthouse loved his determination. He was never a skilful footballer and was more a liability with his constant turnovers. Not to mention he has no right foot like a lot of our current listed players so maybe he is teaching them that.

Yep, good post Shawry :thumbsu:

i dunno why some people are so hard on licca, we all know he never had the flashy skills nor the awesome kicking and talk of him slowing down i dont think he was ever speedy gonzales, BUT what he lacked he made up for in his determination, hard work and he his ability to use his strengths to his and the teams adavantage. While we can agree that his best is behind him he still has a purpose at collingwood and u cant just get rid of great servants like that. Id much rather have a paul licuria on the field than some flashy skilful person who is lazy and caught up in their own awesomeness. He hasnt exactly been great this year but he has had a few injury problems and thats probs set him back a bit, i really dont think he is finished yet but will never be back to his ultimate 2002 best.

back on topic. yeah i agree thnk there will be one late change and i hope to see rhyce in was having a good year till he went down and he does provide us with alot of run

2001 and 2002 were brilliant years from him, he was a tagger, was never beaten, got the ball alot, his use was still questionable, but his ability to run and get the ball both as a link man out wide and at the contests was elite level.
