Player wise i believe Carlton can match Collingwood in most positions but tactically Brett Ratten doesn't have the mindset to beat Malthouse & co.

Carlton will be competitive for the 1st half and 10 minutes into the 3rd qtr but when the game is in the balance Ratten will freeze and allow the Pies to take over the game and eventually win by 7-8 goals.
