Why wouldnt Koertzen tell us the light reading?

Why wouldnt he tell us the reading the weak p rick. Because if he told us someone would find out that matches have played on before with less light. Absolute joke.

Fry the umpires 2. Give the press the opportunity to sensationalise the decision and to make it wrong.

Quite right. Koertzen may not be very articulate, or maybe it is his accent, but he played a good dead bat on a curly one. I don't recall light meter readings being published in the past.

"Yeah the reading was 4.8 and it was offered to Australia at 6.2 so if it gets back to about 5.0 we will be back on."
