he'll be another player for the blues to cover for injuries/poor form...
im tipping he'll be saying 'yes teaugey' more than 'yes ratts' this year.

He has a good overhead mark, maybe as a HFF, or defensive HFF. I like him, and I hope he sees some decent action (8-22 games) this season.

I love his attitude, really wanting to give it his all but i've gotta be honest, I can't see much from Wiggo. I really want to beleive he has a big role in the team in the future but I just cannot see it happening.

Good luck to Wiggo - I hope he makes it. However, I think he'll be fighting it out with Russell for his spot and I think Russell will win more often than not.

Crikey, there's a death sentence.

As brave as Wiggo is, Russell offers the side more and is a faster and taller prospect who can kick with both feet. Jake Edwards will be in the mix as well, so it's going to be a huge struggle for him to play his hundredth game and get his name on a locker. :(

Gee i hope this is a break out year for Wiggler...his hardness at the contest is something that our team has been screaming out for for years now .

great overhead mark and has reasonable pace ..just needs to develop his finishing skills ...he is behind the 8 ball but still has a chance to make it in the navy blue .

No doubt Wiggo will be lining up in our starting 22. This guy has had a rough trot which the article should let you understand, along with Waite, Fish, Walker, Hartlett, and many others.

Wiggo is not a top order player, however we have a young team and this is one of the few bigger bodies going around and he will be needed.

The game plan will be changed, and wiggos style of deliver will be needed to compensate for the on shot goals from the mids - delivery to lead from mid.

What does that mean ? Wiggo can delivery long, on the run, under pressure pumps into the goal square from the boundary. Just seems to be his thing.

A fit wiggo should get a game every week. Russel has done SFA and has had the club bending over backwards for him. Wiggo has busted his nuts for the club and will be given the opportunity. All things being equal on performance at the end of this year and Russel will be out the door before wiggins.

Wiggo is man, Russel is a child.

If you don't believe Wiggins is in our best 22, then you just don't understand football unfortunately.
How many chances does one guy need when he's been here since 2000 and done nothing?

He's 25, kicked one goal last year and averaged 2 tackles and 12 disposals a game.

I'd rather we have kept Lappin who said he retired to give a youngster a go for the development of our young players. Simon is a great clubman, but even he received less votes than Russell in last year's Best and Fairest.

He can't kick to save himself.

Why do we need a hard working player in the side when we have developing players and Houla who are better options up forward?

We've won three spoons with players like Wiggins in the side and he's never even secured a rising star nomination.

Bullants please.

He should be behind a player like Edwards who kicked three goals today and is both taller and faster than Wiggins.

Depth player, but nothing more and his contract's up at the end of the year.
