Will Alan Didak play Round 1?

He could play round 1 but why risk him against the kangaroos bring him bak rd 3 get him some game time just b4 Anzac Day

He will play VFL first, even Buckley did that. No finals without Didak as far as I'm concerned. Especially with Tarrant gone, I don't think a lot of people realise how much heat Tarrant drew and how much work he did upfield. Didak will thrive with the hands in the back thing going on. I hope Didak doesn't play until at least round 4 so we can judge what the forward line is capable of without him. An indicator will be the performance against Melbourne, Saints and Essendon (Loyd back), they have had it all over us in the last few years.

Yeh they will play him in the Vfl for a match or two first just to see how the old knee holds up, Then bring him back. They shouldn't rush him

Good point, maybe Pendlebury, but he is still green and not as strong as Tarrant. No Rusling for a while so there goes that set up. Is Medhurst fast enough to play that sort of role? I reckon the coaches will have restructured the forward line with Rusling injured and Tarrant gone, but they haven't unveiled it yet. Hope it works without Fraser, as I have a funny feeling he is going to be needed in the ruck.

Rule 1: Don't rush him back!

Rnd 4 - 8, depends on the situtation. He should be well and truly back by mid-season, then he can return to (some) form sooner rather than later for our sake, if not there is always next year.

I think he won't need much game time to come back. Maybe just one or two games for Willy.

There is little to be gained by rushing him back. They certainly don't want to take him to the hard ground over in Perth. Maybe round 3?
