Will this week be the first time?

We have never beaten Essendon at Docklands, under any of the stadium names!

Our record at the ground against all opposition is pretty woeful too. A win ratio of 7 wins in 25 games at the ground. Pretty abysmal!

In fact the last time we beat them in Melbourne James Clement kicked 5 goals at FF.

Does anybody genuinely believe we can win this week? I've given it some consideration and I just think it would be a huge upset if we did win. I know Essendon are no world beaters but they surely have us covered, or am I wrong?

The TAB rates Essendon a $1.72 shot which I feel is extremely generous.

Does anybody think we have a legitimate claim in this match, because I'm struggling to see where we can turn the tables on history and win here.

i sure hope that's right.. we do NOT want a repeat on last year.

how good are essendon holding up?
