I am intrigued by the hatred, given the source are fans I would usually find myself agreeing with, as though we were cut from the same cloth. It would appear however that I have been cut from the red part of that cloth!

Genuinely interested. Not looking to be swayed, I really rate the red jumper as a 2nd alternate. It is very different to anything we've worn before though.

I like that it's just a variation of the home strip by predominately using one of the minor colours on it. Sure the shade of red could be better but compared to most other clubs clash jumpers its doing alright.

The only silver lining is we have never worn a red kit/white shorts combo before, it's always been a full red kit.

If it is not just in our head, but also in the players' heads, then there might be something to it. Professional sportspeople are traditionally very superstitious.

True fire engine red would be right. With slightly bolder blue and white hoops. Look at that classic photo of EJ in this weeks footy record, that's the classic look of the hoops on all our guernseys we should be aiming for. Big and bold hoops , right up under the armpits.
