Will you trade out Bowden?

The downside is they play Hawthorn, St Kilda and Geelong in the next 3 weeks. I don't know if it's worth keeping him now.

Or grab the opportunity to get Cornes in

Exactly you want the otherside to be stronger should you have defenders for that team.
I only have simmonds, King and Bowden from Richmond so I wouldnt mind it to be played out in the back/centre area the whole game.

Happy to carry Bowden for another if needed but am actually more concerned with Wallace only playing if he is more defensive. If he is too scared to run off his points scoring capacity will be impacted and might not be worth keeping.

Guess it's really not worth burning a precise trade, end of year he should still be in the top 6 you would think.

I would rather piss off Barlow this week, dont think he can get his BE of 55.
God that was a bad choice.

Was going to do the same thing but judging by the messages being given by Wallace in the past few days JB wont be back in the side anytime soon and when he does it wont be the same free range role that he had before. With that being the case then I'm biting the bullet this week and trading him out to a bench sitter and using the money elsewhere.

Only problem with that is who to target with the second trade can afford to go for Ablett, Chapman, Riewoldt, Brown, Steve/Brad Johnson or Franklin, hmmm what to do?

I can't seem to justify using a trade to downgrade Bowden. Even if he comes back and averages anywhere from maybe 75-85 I think he's still worth keeping. You would hope he has the capacity to learn his lesson from this stint in the VFL and come back a better player. :)confused::eek:)

Wallace said he was pleased with the mix of youth and experience in the senior line-up at the moment and didn’t envisage the prospect of many changes this week.

That suggests veteran defender Joel Bowden and forward Kayne Pettifer, who bagged five goals for Coburg at the weekend, are likely to remain in the VFL for the time being.

“It’s not about what players do offensively, it’s about what they do defensively that will be the determination about getting back into the side,” Wallace said.

Well lucky i dont have bowden
