SUNDAY 17 SEPTEMBER, 2006
SENIORS: 1st PRELIMINARY FINAL @ TEAC Oval, Port Melbourne
Williamstown vs. Geelong starting 2.10pm
Match will be shown on ABC but with no AFL football in Melbourne this week it is a great chance to get along and see some football. It is sure to be a great days football so i urge everyone to get along. Admission is $16 for an adult, $10 for pensioners and concession card holders and free for children under 15.
MY TIP
Williamstown by 20 points.
After defeating the Bullants in the first week of finals Williamstown, thanks to an inspired performance from Magpie youngster Dale Thomas, moved through to the Preliminary Final while Geelong had to battle it out last week with a 4-point win against North Ballarat ensuring they progressed to the Preliminary Finals. That win came on the back of 5 goals from Kent Kingsley and he again looms large this week. If Williamstown can hold him they should be able to progress to the Grand Final.
