Pies players reviews...

C.Morrison - Played BP/HBF, looked good.

Rowe - Would have got about 30 possessions, looked at ease at VFL level, clearly above that level.

Cole - His beard is gone.

Williams - Played key defensive role all day, went ok but I wouldn't have him in defence.

Lokan - Solid game playing all over the ground.

B.Morrison - Don't think he got a kick.

Swan - In the votes for sure. Would be straight back up I'd say.

B.Shaw - Quiet.

Hall - On and off as ruck all day, battled well.

Davies - Another good game at VFL level, knocking on door of selection I would say.

O'Brien - Get him in.

Leonard - Had a good game in midfield, got switched onto Justin Murphy at 3/4 time (who had over 30 possessions at this stage) and won that battle.

Heath Lawry looks a player as well.

Rowe and Swan clearly looked like the standouts today.

What has happened to Cole? He is clearly in the crossroads in his football career.

Swan did some dumb stuff, but was the best of the Pies. Rowey was fine, but it's obvious that he needs to work on his tank. Morrison has great hands and poise, but ******** he is a ******** user of it!

Cole was crap in the half a game he played. Far worse players to delist before him if a suitable trade can't be reached.

Lokan, Willo, Leonard have to go (with MM no guarantee though).

Billy used wide arse to keep the pine warm.

Windscreens and Davies work hard, but there's a very clear reason they weren't drafted.

Hall struggles to get into the game.

Brayden might have had a couple of touches by the end of the day, but he is not tough or prolific enough to play middle, not polished or fast enough to play outside. My opinion of him has again gone backwards and I hold little hope.

Anyone calling for us to look at Picken should stop drinking metho.

Apart from the classsy Rowe, Heath Lawry looked the best young prospect out there today.

b shaw into the firsts! We will never get the best out of this kid in the magoo's. It can geta tad depressing coming from a greta footablling family and playing 3 years straight in the two's give the kid a run in the firsts and you might get to see th best of him.
Id leave swanny and rowe down there for a couple more weeks! They orta earn there spot again

Shaw was drafted in the 2003 draft, and you dont get a spot in the 1's on name alone. As for Rowe and Swan...must come straight back in, at the expense of Roids (get him right) and Tarks (needs confidence...or somethin)

Leonard may have pace and skill but is too small and doesnt seem to get the pill too much.

Davies,obrien, rowe, swan were good.

When brayden got the ball he done something with it on each occasion, maybe just needs more time after being out with injury.

What do people think of Jackson barling , is he worth picking up. He looked okay.

well they cant re-rookie him, his two years are up, they will either promote him, or delist and try to re-rookie via rookie draft

even though ive never seen him play, id lean towards option 2, cos he hasnt really looked like getting a game at all for a while, since bout the start of last season when he was flying in pre-season

He's had injury problems, but is definately worth promoting in place of either Williams, Lokan, Cole, Woey, Walker, Davis, Morrison x 2, King

Leonard is as tall as Leon and Tarkyn, and nobody complains about their height.

Their lack of skills, pace and fitness, yes, but those don't seem to be an issue for Zane.

I actually think the best option for him would be to try and re-rookie him.

Yeah, he's been playing on the wing for a few weeks now, which is good, because he still manages to kick a goal or two a game.

Could Tommy, with a good run of health, develop into a tall midfielder?
